“Live in Australia” includes some of Doc’s favorite tracks, like 'If you See Kay', 'It Ain’t Right' and 'Whose Been Talking' (song by Tim). It features an electric version of the swinging Doc and Ross Jive 4321 plus other original tracks; The Viper Blues, Underground Blues, Red Dust, In Every Way and a classic acoustic song from Tim Gaze, Slow Walkin Blues. Every track shows off some expert blues playing.

Developed by the highly experienced blues team of Doc Span & Ross Williams, this CD & booklet presents 10 very cool backing tracks for you to practice blues soloing, on the instrument of your choice. Each track is recorded twice: Once with harmonica, to give you some ideas, and once without - so you can "go off"!

Improve your timing and develop a bank of personal riffs while you experience playing along with a professional blues band. Learn new phrasing techniques. Playing along will stimulate your powers of improvisation.

Listening carefully to what each instrument is doing will help you emulate professional playing styles or just blend in, picking up rhythm patterns and playing along with your favourite melodies over the tracks. Become acquainted with different blues grooves.

It’s good fun and great practice whatever your level of proficiency! The booklet contains basic instruction on rhythm, melody, tone, harmony, tongue blocking, improvisation, positions and scales, bending notes, & more.
